My name is Enikő Varga, I’m 36 years old, and in the last 10+ years I’ve been a ghostwriter and creative writer with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), online marketing and basic site build (HTML5, CSS3) background working from a home office.
Alongside my passion for writing, I’ve been dedicated to bodyweight training since I was 20 years old. I enjoy doing bodyweight exercises including classic calisthenics, street workout and stretching.
At age 23, I got my BA diploma at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary, Budapest. My major was Slovenian Studies and my minor was Literature Science. I didn’t really take seriously my Slovenian language studies, because I was way more interested in literature.
After university, due to my deteriorating health, I started working from home. I had administrative jobs, but eventually I ended up in IT. I was a site-builder with CSS3 and HTML5 knowledge at an American-Norwegian company, but my attention shifted towards Search Engine Optimization and online marketing. I worked at different companies as a SEO specialist while supporting the online marketing team, but due to my health issues I ended up taking only writing jobs.
My main topics were:
- SEO and SEM (Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing)
- Health & Fitness
- Cooking & Baking, Food & Recipes
- Branding
- Design
- Fashion
- Nature & Animals
- Music
- Travel
- Gifts, DIY, etc.
I wrote most of the blog posts in Hungarian, but there were also company brochures, sales, marketing and PR materials I wrote in English.
I love moving

I suffered from a chronic illness from the age of 13 to 35. There were days and weeks when I simply couldn’t walk or even sit. Basically I couldn’t move whenever I wanted, only whenever I was able to – hence the home office.
With the help of the carnivore diet I literally have no pain anymore. I also had a surgery that also helped me tons in my healing process. So now I can move my body whenever I want, and not when I’m able to. So I just love training. Because I’ve been through hell, I need absolutely no motivation to train. I take it as a privilege.
I love writing

I always loved writing but most of the time when I’m payed to write for a company, I usually cannot write reality, truth, or even a well-referenced article, because most businesses think that what they can offer to customers is enough.
And that’s when the lying comes into the picture. How many times I had to write lies so that my clients would be happy.. Well, in this blog I won’t lie. I just refuse to do so.
I love reading

Every good writer loves reading as reading is a nice – if not the best – way to get inspired, collect new pieces of information, build a vast vocabulary and broaden one’s mind.
I love science books, but after a couple of months indulging in them, I enjoy reading some fictional books as well. But then some author publishes a new science book that I’m interested in, and I legit feel FOMO if I cannot read it almost immediately 😉
In this blog I want to provide scientifically-backed information regarding health and fitness, where my main focus would be on calisthenics (body-weight training).
